Christmas time is the second summer of Cesenatico
At Christmas, the seaside village shines more than ever for its citizens and visitors. Cesenatico gives always “good living” with the warmth of its welcome and the liveliness of its cultural soul.
“The Christmas holidays are the second summer of Cesenatico”: with these words Councilor Gaia Morara presents this period that the city is preparing to live, waiting for the moment to begin the celebrations.
December 5th: the celebrations begin
December 5th is the date to be marked immediately on the calendar to visit Cesenatico. From 5.00 pm on the canal harbour, the Christmas time will begin with a show of live music, lights and sounds, the lighting of the famous Marineria Nativity scene, a unique attraction in Italy, and lights throughout the town.
From here a series of unmissable events will come to life: Christmas markets and itinerant events on the Harbour (every Sunday and public holidays), initiatives and workshops for children, concerts and shows in the municipal theater, the Nativity scene and the lighting of the Christmas trunk (23 December) in piazza delle Conserve, and the eagerly awaited appointment on New Year’s Eve in piazza Ciceruacchio.
