The Church of San Nicola (Franciscan friary) was built in 1611 and dedicated to the saints Nicola di Mira and Francesco di Paola, patron saints of seamen. A few years later the friary was founded. The current façade was built in 1957 and put on top of the former one, whereas the interior walls are still the original ones. The paintings you can see inside the Church are almost contemporary with the time of its construction.
