The La Scuola di Cesenatico Teaching Restaurant opened its doors to the public in June 2017 with a dual objective: on one hand, to introduce the public to the reality of the school, making them part of the educational process behind a simple lunch, and on the other, to constitute, albeit in a reduced form, a real “gym” where students can practice in a protected environment. Contact with the public thus becomes daily and not limited to training internship periods. The Restaurant's mission was initially to create a vegetarian buffet menu without losing sight of regional first courses: from ravioli to veg lasagna, up to gnocchetti and crepes, all strictly made with fresh and mostly zero-kilometer products.
This approach was maintained throughout the summer season, then giving way to a cozier, winter version of the restaurant, open from Monday to Thursday for lunch with a different complete menu each day.
