LEONARDO MUNICIPAL GALLERY

Descrizione

LEONARDO MUNICIPAL GALLERY

The building was Cesenatico's first covered fish market: built by the Municipality in 1926 and inaugurated by Prof. Dino Sbrozzi. Later, walls were erected to close the spaces between the columns of the original portico; on two of these, an artist from Cesenatico created murals. Today, the property hosts exhibitions of various kinds.

In the adjacent small garden, a section of wall from the ancient canal port dating back to the 14th century is visible.
