MEDIUM BIKE ROUTE – from Cesenatico to Montiano and Longiano

From the Marco Pantani monument, you cycle along the Cesenatico seafront and secondary roads of the Romagna countryside up to the Cesenate hills. The first climb leads to the village of Montiano, dominated by its Malatesta Fortress with a curious heart shape. Here you descend and then climb steeply up the other side of the valley, to the village of Longiano and its sanctuary. Once you have admired the panorama of the hills and the sea, you return to Cesenatico along quiet country roads.
